ABOUT CHIEF DANBERRY

I am a CW3 (Chief Warrant Officer - Three) Army Reserve AGR (Active Guard Reserve) Soldier currently assigned to the Military Intelligence Readiness Command (MIRC) at Fort Belvoir, Virginia and work in the G6 section.  I completed my reclassification to 251A (Information Systems Technician) at the US Army Signal School at Fort Gordon, Georgia from 915E (Senior Automotive Maintenance Officer) in November 2010.

I have been helping AKO since April 2009 with the CAC Resource Center by answering emails addressed to ako dot cac @ us dot army dot mil and providing the content for the AKO CAC Resource Center.

I have been a computer geek since I received my first computer [Commodore VIC 20] in January 1981.

I developed this website because I saw the need for this information to be available to everyone.  My personal satisfaction is knowing that I am helping people.  The best payment you can give me is to Bookmark and Share my site with your colleagues and / or posting some small tear off tab signs at your unit.  Donations are obviously accepted too.   I dislike banner and flashing webpage ads, so, I pay for the webhosting, domain name registration, static IP, and SSL certificate myself to keep this site as clean as possible.

While I was deployed in 2003 to Kuwait & Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom, I worked as the SIPR (Secure Internet Protocol - Routed) webmaster for the 3d COSCOM (Corps Support Command) / V Corps Rear G6.  When V Corps moved to Baghdad, I assumed the duties of the System Administrator and became the "Go to guy" for the 3d COSCOM.  I still maintained the SIPR website, but also took care of the maintenance and administrative tasks for 3 separate networks, including 13 servers in our facility, and continued to assist everyone with their computer problems.

Soon after returning from Iraq in early 2004, I moved to Minnesota (Minneapolis / Saint Paul) and sought out being an Information Management Representative (IMR) for the 88th Regional Readiness Command (RRC).  I completed Level 1 Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO), IASO Technical Level 1, and the Systems Administrator / Network Manager Security Course (SA/NMSC) at Fort McCoy, WI to become a TIER Level II technician.

I have my Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Network Development from Brown College in Mendota Heights, MN and carry 3 CompTIA certifications (see below).

The Army Reserve started using CAC logon in May 2006.  I quickly (once again) became the "Go to guy" in my Army Reserve Center, and Minnesota.  I thought Why stop there?,  I'd couple my webpage building abilities and my knowledge of CAC and share it with you.

This website allows me to help people in all branches of the Military worldwide!!

Thanks for visiting my website.
